With a thin, black bezel, the Huawei MatePad 10.4 looks like a modern tablet. It has a metal frame, 7.35mm thin, but the back of the machine is made of plastic. That design looks good but since it’s not monolithic it doesn’t feel as premium as some of its competitors. It weighs 450g, which is very popular.

On its sides, we have the power button, volume rocker and USB-C port. This is a USB-C 2.0 port, so you can connect an external SSD and other accessories but the external display is not supported. A headphone jack is missing, but you can expand the memory with a microSD card.

The MatePad 10.4 has a total of four speakers, two on each side shorter. Here, the sound quality is relatively decent, which is comparable to higher-end models that also have four similar speakers.

Huawei MatePad 10.4 has a HiSilicon Kirin 810 octa-core processor made by Huawei, 3GB / 4GB RAM and 32GB / 64GB internal memory. The model I evaluated in the post has 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM.
