Video Xiaomi Redmi A3 Unboxing | Hands-On, Antutu, Design, Unbox, Camera Test:
Design and Display:
The Redmi A3 features a compact and lightweight design, measuring 168.3 x 76.3 x 8.3 mm and weighing around 193 g or 199 g, depending on the variant. The device sports a glass front (protected by Gorilla Glass 3) and a glass back or a silicone polymer back (eco leather) with a plastic frame. Although not as premium as higher-end models, the Redmi A3 still exudes a modern and appealing aesthetic.
The 6.71-inch IPS LCD display offers a 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 720 x 1650 pixels. While the pixel density of approximately 268 ppi may not be the highest, the display produces vibrant colors and satisfactory brightness levels. The inclusion of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 ensures added durability and protection against scratches.
Performance:
Running on Android 14 (Go edition) with MIUI, the Redmi A3 is powered by the Mediatek Helio G36 chipset, built on a 12nm process. The octa-core CPU, consisting of Cortex-A53 cores, provides a decent level of performance for daily tasks and moderate multitasking. The PowerVR GE8320 GPU delivers satisfactory graphics capabilities for casual gaming and multimedia consumption.
The device offers multiple memory configurations, including 64GB storage with 3GB RAM, 128GB storage with 4GB RAM, or 128GB storage with 6GB RAM. While not the most generous in terms of RAM, these options provide ample storage space for media, apps, and files, allowing users to enjoy a seamless experience.
Camera:
The Redmi A3 features a single 8 MP primary camera and a 0.08 MP auxiliary lens. While the camera setup may seem modest, it still captures decent photos in favorable lighting conditions. The inclusion of dual-LED flash and HDR further enhances the camera’s capabilities. The device can record videos at 1080p@30fps, ensuring smooth and satisfactory video recording.
