Chinese manufacturer OPPO is reportedly in the works to launch the OPPO A12e smartphone. OPPO A12e has been in the news for quite some time now, but little is known about its specifications and features. Thankfully enough, the device has not been spotted on the official OPPO Vietnam website, which gives us a working clue as to what the specifications of the device are.
Notably, the OPPO A12e is a budget smartphone, which shares most of the specifications with the OPPO A3s smartphone, leading us to believe that the OPPO A12e could be a rebranded OPPO A3s. The OPPO A3s smartphone was launched in India back in 2018 and has received several price cuts so far. Take a look at the specifications and live shots of the OPPO A12e and find out what it has in store for us.
OPPO A12e will be a cheap smartphone with Snapdragon 450 chip and dual camera. Surprisingly, this phone comes with a very old operating system, which is Android 8 Oreo, ColorOS 5.1 interface. It seems that this is the only version of the OPPO A3s that has been renamed, the A3s has been launched in India since 2018.
OPPO A12e has a 6.2 inch HD + screen, 19: 9 aspect ratio, has 3GB RAM, 64GB ROM. On the back of the device is a dual camera setup consisting of a 13MP main sensor + a 2MP depth sensor, similar to the OPPO A3s.
OPPO A12e has a battery capacity of 4,230mAh but it is not known whether it supports fast charging or not. The device does not have a fingerprint sensor but can be unlocked using the face via the front camera.
Finally, the OPPO A12e has a Music Party feature that allows you to connect to your friends’ smartphones to play the same music, which is also a feature on the OPPO A3s.
