Nokia officially launched the XpressMusic series of music players for the first time in 2005, competing with the W series of music players from Sony brand that was the rival at that time. In particular, the Nokia 5310 model can be considered as the product that made the most impression as well as the most successful XpressMusic series. And over 13 years, HMD Global recently decided to revive the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic music player with a design change to make it more modern and trendy, as well as long battery life.

Side by side with the 5310 XpressMusic model, which is more than 13 years old, Nokia 5310 XpressMusic (2020) has many design changes and a much larger size. The device has dimensions of 123.7 x 52.4 x 13.1 mm respectively, light weight of about 88.2g.

The screen of the 5310 XpressMusic has a 2.4-inch size of 240 x 320 pixels, tons of TFT background for high brightness outdoors, MediaTek MT6260A processor with 8MB RAM and 16MB of internal memory, support microSD card expandable up to 32GB. On the other hand, the device does not run KaiOS operating system like other Nokia feature phones so it will not support Wi-Fi or 4G SIM card, only support 2G network.

The back cover is removable and held tightly through the plastic mounts around the body instead of sliding down, inside is a removable 1,200mAh battery, supports 2 standard mini SIMs and a microSD expansion card slot.

Of course, the highlight of the 5310 XpressMusic is its ability to play music through the built-in music player, but the minus is that users cannot quickly launch the music player by holding down any multilateral button.
