LG Folder 2 uses Snapdragon 210 processor combined with 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal memory. It has two screens, a 2.8-inch QVGA main screen and a 0.9-inch monochrome secondary screen to display notifications and calls.
The device gets all the connectivity features that you can get in a modern-day smartphone. This includes Radio FM, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. The Folder 2 comes with Wi-Fi and is 4G enabled and we also get a data security lock option to keep a check on data usage.
Old-school physical keys such as a SOS key along with Hotkey buttons can also be seen on the device. Located alongside the camera at the back, the SOS key can help call a pre-registered number by pressing it three times within 1.5 seconds. The receiver also gets a text message sharing the location of the sender. The Hotkey, on the other hand, can be used for utilising AI-based services which depend on carriers.
LG Folder 2 weighs 127 grams, supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity. There is also a feature called “data security key” that helps prevent unwanted data charges.
It runs the Android operating system (unknown version specific) and has a battery capacity of 1,470mAh. LG Folder 2 was sold in South Korea on April 17 for $ 160 (equivalent to 3.8 million), the machine has two color options are White and Gray Platinum.
